We now offer Pet First Aid and CPR. Our instructors are at the forefront of this exciting and rewarding field. This American Heart Association, AHA, course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages, use of an automated external defibrillator and relief of choking. It is intended for participants who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of settings, but is the most valuable CPR class for allparticipants. CPR etc has been teaching CPR in Marin for more than a Decade, and believes the AHA BLS CPR program and certification is the best available. Certification provided meets standards of professional healthcare providers, emergency medical services agencies and employers. All of our instructors are certified AHA Healthcare Provider CPR instructors.
The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is intended for certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed healthcare professionals.
Course Length: Approximately 4½ hours
Healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician's assistants, residents or fellows, or medical or nursing students in training, aides, medical or nursing assistants, police officers, and other allied health personnel.
